Meet the Instructor

Alison music teacher nj.jpg

When her children were toddlers, Alison Siener Brown researched lots of different music classes to take them to. As a professional musician, a high quality curriculum was a must. From the very first class, she knew she had found exactly what she was looking for. A year later, Alison began training and is now a certified and licensed Musikgarten teacher. In April 2012 she received the Musikgarten Achievement Award in recognition of completing all levels of training in the Musikgarten Music and Movement Series. Alison holds a Master of Music in Sacred Music and Organ Performance from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Music in Sacred Music from Westminster Choir College. She currently serves as Music Director at All Saints’ Episcopal Church in Millington, NJ, where she plays the organ and directs the adult and the junior choirs. She has been teaching private piano lessons since 1997. She lives in Bernardsville, NJ with her husband and two sons.
