August 12-15, 2013 (Monday-Wednesday: 8:30am-1:00pm; Thursday: 8:30am-2:00pm)
Now in its third year, experience a vocal music camp for emerging musicians which will give students experiences in solo singing and vocal training, ensemble-based music-making, music theory, and other special interest sessions which will enhance every student’s musicality. Within the camp, students will be placed into three age-based groups to give students the most optimal musical experience. This camp is designed to foster each singer’s love of music, further develop vocal skills, and increase musical knowledge and understanding all within a fun and safe camp environment. The camp will culminate in a performance for friends and family. Camp faculty includes Stephen Sands (Artistic Director), Matthew LaPine (Director of Education), and Dan Foster (Founder and Director of Aoede Consort). Please bring a lunch each day. All students entering grades 3-12 are welcome. Camp tuition: $165.00 before April 15, 2013. After April 15, 2013: $185.00.
