Music in the Somerset Hills is proud announce the return of our Community Concert Band! Rehearsals for the band program are anticipated to begin in January 2013, and continue until our second annual concert in March.
The Community Concert Band will be open to anyone in the Somerset Hills. Participants are required to be able to read music, and have an intermediate level of performance experience or above. This would be comparable to high school band experience. Ages to participate in the Community Concert Band are 14 years and older.
Participants of the concert band must provide their own instrument (except for percussionists). Instruments are available at a special rental duration/rate from the Music Shop: www.themusicshop.com
Conductors for the Somerset Hills Community Band will be Peter DiCarlo and Fred Trumpy.
